Job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Deal Operations Manager based in United Kingdom.
This is an opportunity to shape and scale deal operations within a growing, fully remote environment.
You will own workflows that make commercial deals faster, clearer, and easier to execute across the quote-to-cash lifecycle.
The role partners closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Deal Strategy, Systems, Customer Success, and Product teams.
You will support complex deal construction, including multi-year, expansion, multi-product, ramped, and non-standard agreements.
You will also help turn pricing, packaging, and new product decisions into practical processes and CPQ workflows.
With a strong focus on data, quality, automation, and continuous improvement, your work will reduce downstream errors and rework.
The role offers broad cross-functional exposure and the opportunity to build scalable commercial processes in an international team.
Accountabilities
-
Build and continuously improve the global deal operations workflow, covering intake, routing, approval readiness, SLAs, escalation paths, and exception handling.
-
Own approval readiness within CPQ, including quote quality checks, required fields, approval context, discount rationale, and downstream handoff requirements.
-
Support Sales and Sales Leadership with the construction and design of new business, renewal, expansion, multi-year, ramped, multi-product, and non-standard deals.
-
Translate commercial strategies into approval-ready deal structures with clear value exchange, risk considerations, concession logic, billing terms, contract timing, and implementation assumptions.
-
Coordinate with Legal on non-standard terms, contract language, execution paths, risk ownership, and customer-requested changes.
-
Partner with Finance to ensure revenue recognition, billing, payment terms, product lines, start dates, order forms, and approval evidence are properly addressed before signature.
-
Support pricing and packaging initiatives by translating commercial decisions into CPQ logic, approval paths, field processes, and reporting requirements.
-
Help operationalize new product introductions by defining deal rules, quote requirements, launch constraints, fallback paths, and guidance for early transactions.
-
Own the handoff from approved quotes into ordering, billing, commissions, reporting, and customer lifecycle systems.
-
Run operating cadences using KPIs, defect logs, root-cause analysis, action tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
-
Identify and implement automation and AI opportunities across intake, routing, approval summaries, quote checks, documentation, and cycle-time reduction.
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
-
5+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Deal Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a comparable commercial operations function, ideally within B2B SaaS.
-
Hands-on experience with CPQ platforms such as DealHub or comparable tools, together with strong knowledge of quote-to-cash or lead-to-cash processes.
-
Demonstrated experience structuring and reviewing complex or non-standard commercial agreements, including multi-year, ramped, expansion, and multi-product deals.
-
Working knowledge of revenue recognition concepts, billing and order processes, and contract execution workflows involving Legal and Finance.
-
Experience designing scalable processes, documentation, SLAs, decision rules, and operating cadences, including KPI reviews and root-cause analysis.
-
Strong analytical skills and confidence working with Salesforce and reporting tools.
-
Strong commercial judgment and the ability to balance customer value, risk, revenue, and margin considerations.
-
Excellent cross-functional communication and coordination skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
-
Exceptional attention to detail and a disciplined approach to quote quality, approval readiness, and pre-signature checks.
-
A continuous-improvement mindset, with an interest in automation and AI applications that can reduce cycle time and rework.
-
Demonstrated AI literacy, including the ability to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, and quality while applying sound judgment and critical thinking.
-
Base salary range of $81,400–$110,000 for U.S.-based hires; compensation may vary according to location, role scope, skills, experience, education, and relevant training.
-
Monthly remote-work stipend covering expenses such as home internet and electricity.
-
Home-office equipment package from the start, including a laptop, keyboard, monitor, and related essentials.
-
Additional home-office equipment upgrades or access to a local co-working space after onboarding.
-

-
Sick leave and parental leave benefits.
-
Personal development fund for courses, books, conferences, and professional materials.
-
Annual international team-building trip, along with quarterly and monthly online team events.
-
Flexible working schedules designed to support work-life balance.
