Job description
At CGI, our Delivery Managers and Product Owners shape the digital products and services that help organisations transform, innovate and deliver lasting value. You'll play a pivotal role in turning client ambitions into successful outcomes, taking ownership of product direction, delivery excellence or both, depending on the assignment. Working alongside talented multidisciplinary teams, you'll influence strategic decisions, champion effective Agile practices and explore creative approaches to complex challenges. With the support of CGI's collaborative community, you'll have the opportunity to strengthen client relationships, develop your leadership capabilities and make a meaningful impact on the products, people and organisations we serve.
CGI was recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2025 and has been named a UK ‘Best Employer’ by the Financial Times. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you’ll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We’ll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.
Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position working initially on a major programme of work in Glasgow so you will need to be able to attend the office there a few times a month.
You'll collaborate with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to create an environment where innovative thinking, accountability and continuous improvement thrive. Supported by CGI's experienced delivery community, you'll have the opportunity to influence client transformation, coach colleagues and strengthen delivery capabilities while building trusted relationships and driving sustainable results.
Key responsibilities:
• Shape & Prioritise: Develop product visions, roadmaps and prioritised backlogs aligned with client objectives, user needs and business value.
• Lead & Deliver: Manage complex digital initiatives across the delivery lifecycle, maintaining control of scope, timelines, budgets, quality and governance.
• Champion Agile Excellence: Lead Agile ceremonies, embed Scrum and Kanban practices, and help teams continuously improve delivery performance.
• Engage & Influence: Build trusted client and stakeholder relationships, communicating priorities, progress, risks and delivery decisions effectively.
• Manage & Optimise: Identify and resolve risks, issues and dependencies while balancing product value, delivery capacity and commercial commitments.
• Collaborate & Innovate: Work with engineering, UX, business analysis and testing teams to translate requirements into achievable, high-quality solutions.
• Coach & Empower: Mentor multidisciplinary colleagues, remove delivery obstacles and encourage high-performing, self-organising teams.
• Measure & Improve: Use customer feedback, product performance and delivery insights to inform decisions and enhance outcomes.
• Support Commercial Success: Contribute to financial forecasting, resource planning, proposals and business development opportunities where required.
