About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, caring and reliable Qualified Dental Nurse to join our close-knit team.

We are a welcoming practice where teamwork, patient care and a positive atmosphere are really important to us. We are looking for someone who is not only confident in their clinical skills, but who is also warm, approachable and enjoys working with people.

You will play an important role in supporting our dentists and the wider team, while helping to ensure our patients feel comfortable, cared for and at ease.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
• Preparing and setting up surgeries before and after appointments.
• Providing patients with a friendly and reassuring experience.
• Maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control.
• Cleaning, decontaminating and sterilising instruments in accordance with current guidelines.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Ensuring surgeries are clean, organised and fully stocked.
• Supporting the smooth running of the practice.
• Working closely with the whole team and being willing to help wherever needed.
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and professional standards at all times.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, approachable and naturally caring.
• A qualified Dental Nurse with the relevant qualification and GDC registration.
• A good communicator who enjoys building relationships with patients.
• Reliable, organised and professional.
• Calm and reassuring, particularly when caring for nervous patients.

• Someone who takes pride in their work and has a good attention to detail.
• Flexible and willing to support colleagues when needed.
