About the Role

Reporting to the IT / HR Director, you will be responsible for the reliability, security, performance and continuous improvement of ATL's IT infrastructure. You will lead our Infrastructure and IT Operations team while remaining actively involved in the technical delivery and support of our environments.

You will oversee network infrastructure, cyber security, Linux and Windows server environments, Microsoft cloud technologies and disaster recovery capabilities, ensuring ATL's systems remain secure, available and fit for the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage ATL's infrastructure estate across multiple operational sites.
• Provide technical leadership and day-to-day management of the Infrastructure and IT Operations team.
• Act as the senior escalation point for infrastructure issues and major incidents.
• Manage and optimise network infrastructure including switching, routing, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, DNS and DHCP.
• Support and administer Linux and Windows server environments.
• Oversee Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune administration.
• Drive cyber security improvements, vulnerability remediation and incident response.
• Maintain business continuity, backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Manage infrastructure suppliers and technology partners.
• Lead infrastructure projects, upgrades and technology improvements.
• Develop internal technical capability and reduce unnecessary reliance on external support providers.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

• Proven experience in Infrastructure Management, Senior Systems Administration or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong networking expertise including switching, routing, VLANs, firewalls and VPN technologies.
• Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure and network issues.
• Commercial Linux administration experience.
• Strong Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune knowledge.
• Cyber security experience including hardening, patch management and incident response.
• Experience supporting business-critical operational environments.
• Previous experience leading or managing technical teams.

Desirable

• ISO 27001 experience.
• Experience within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing or operational environments.
• Exposure to Blue Yonder / JDA Dispatcher or similar WMS platforms.
• Microsoft, Networking, Linux or Cyber Security certifications.
• Experience with virtualisation, monitoring tools, backup platforms and disaster recovery testing.
