Location: Hybrid, must be within one hour’s commute of London
Medneo is growing quickly. We provide mobile MRI and CT services across the UK, operate a private diagnostic clinic in London, and are expanding through new clinics, services, acquisitions and healthcare partnerships. We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who can help turn that opportunity into measurable growth.
We want someone who understands the full marketing mix but has built their career in a digital world. You’ll know how to attract the right audiences, create content they want to engage with, convert interest into enquiries and qualified leads, and keep improving performance. You’ll be able to explain what worked, why it worked and what you would do differently next time.
This is a role for a marketer who enjoys both strategy and delivery. You’ll shape our priorities, work closely with our CEO, CCO and commercial teams, and then get campaigns, content and improvements live. You’ll have agencies and a junior colleague to work with, but you’ll remain close enough to the detail to spot opportunities and raise standards yourself.
The opportunity
There is a real opportunity to build how marketing works at Medneo. We serve several distinct audiences: NHS commissioners and hospitals, private healthcare partners, referring clinicians and patients. Each needs a different message and customer journey. You’ll help us understand where marketing can drive the greatest return and build the plans, tools, content and reporting to make it happen.
Our website is a particularly important part of that work. We want it to do more than describe our services. It should help people find us, answer their questions, establish trust and make it easy to take the next step. You’ll lead the marketing input into its redevelopment and continually improve its performance afterwards.
You’ll also help Medneo adapt as search changes. That means strong technical and content-led SEO, alongside a practical understanding of how to make our expertise visible in AI-generated search results and answers, including tools such as ChatGPT. We’re looking for someone curious enough to test what works and rigorous enough to measure it.
Drive digital growth
- Plan, launch and optimise digital campaigns across paid search, organic search, email, social and other channels that reach our audiences
- Own the marketing performance of our website, working to improve search visibility, user journeys, enquiry rates and conversion
- Develop a content strategy based on what patients, clinicians and healthcare customers need to know, creating content that earns attention and supports growth
- Improve how Medneo appears in search and AI-generated answers through clear, authoritative, well-structured content and strong digital foundations
- Use analytics, testing and customer insight to improve campaigns and make informed decisions about where to invest
- Manage PPC effectively, understanding targeting, cost, lead quality and conversion rather than focusing only on traffic or clicks
Connect marketing to commercial results
- Work with Commercial to define target audiences, develop campaigns and move prospects through the funnel
- Build a clear view of marketing qualified leads, sales qualified leads, conversion, pipeline contribution and return on investment
- Develop propositions, case studies and sales materials that help colleagues turn Medneo’s capabilities into compelling reasons to buy
- Support tenders and business development with evidence, customer stories and content that can be used consistently and quickly
- Report clearly on results, including what is performing well, what is underperforming and what should change
Build the brand and the function
- Strengthen Medneo’s position across NHS and private healthcare, ensuring our communications are credible, distinctive and commercially useful
- Create and oversee high-quality content for campaigns, the website, presentations, thought leadership, PR and social media
- Support the launch of new clinics, services and partnerships, as well as communications around acquisitions
- Manage agency partners with clear objectives, constructive challenge and a firm grasp of their contribution
- Develop practical plans, processes and reporting that allow marketing to scale as the business grows
- Mentor and develop a junior colleague, helping them build their skills and deliver strong work
You’ll be a capable marketing generalist with particularly strong digital, content and performance skills. You’ll understand how the channels fit together and be equally comfortable discussing a growth plan, reviewing campaign data, improving a webpage or writing a sharp brief.
You’ll bring:
- A minimum of 5 years relevant marketing experience, with evidence of increasing responsibility and results
- Hands-on experience creating, running and improving digital campaigns
- Strong working knowledge of SEO, PPC, website optimisation, analytics, CRM, email marketing and content strategy
- An understanding of how to use content, PR and social media to build authority, reach the right audiences and support conversion
- A clear grasp of the marketing and sales funnel, including lead quality, qualification, conversion and pipeline
- Experience using data and marketing tools to diagnose problems, test ideas and improve performance
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex services clear and engaging
- Experience working with agencies and as part of a wider team
- The ability to balance longer-term strategy with the pace and detail of day-to-day delivery
- The confidence to present recommendations, challenge assumptions and work closely with senior colleagues
Experience of both B2B and B2C marketing would be ideal. Healthcare, diagnostics or another regulated sector would be a strong advantage, but we’re equally interested in someone from another sector who can show us how they have driven growth and measured the result.
Above all, we’re looking for someone energetic, positive and self-starting. You’ll be ambitious for the role and for what marketing can achieve here. You’ll enjoy working at pace, take pride in the detail and be ready to turn your hand to what the business needs.
When you apply, we’d love to see examples of growth you’ve helped deliver: the opportunity you identified, the campaign or change you made, how you measured it and the commercial outcome.
You’ll have the opportunity to shape marketing in a growing, private equity-backed healthcare business, with direct access to its leadership team and the freedom to make a visible impact. It’s a substantial next step for someone ready to take ownership, develop others and build a function with real commercial influence.
Our benefits include:
- 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, with up to three additional days for long service
- Bupa private medical insurance, including pre-existing conditions
- Family health options and life assurance at five times salary
- Paid CPD and career development
- 24/7 GP access, mental health first aiders and wellbeing support
- Blue Light Card, gym discounts, cycle to work, cashback plans, Tastecard, Denplan, tech vouchers and more
- Discounted MRI scans for friends and family at our London centre
If you know how to use digital marketing, content and data to drive growth - and want the space to show what marketing can achieve - we’d love to hear from you.
