Programme Eligibility

To join one of our 12-month Internships you must meet one of the following criteria:

  1. You’re currently an undergraduate studying at University and returning to full time education in Autumn 2028
  2. You’re looking to gain work experience after completing your A-Levels, an equivalent course or an Apprenticeship

Additionally, you must also:

  • Be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 5th July 2027 – Friday 21st July 2028
  • Be able to work in NBCUniversal's Central London office on-site four days per week

What will I be doing?

As a UK Promotions and Creative Services Intern within the UK Theatrical team, you will be supporting the fast-paced world of Brand Partnerships and Creative Services to facilitate and deliver innovative campaigns, whilst also developing your own skills and knowledge to help you progress within the industry.

Our Brand Promotions team are responsible for collaborating with brands from multiple industries, creating innovative co-branded marketing campaigns to promote the release of selected films within the UK Theatrical slate.

The Creative Services team is responsible for managing creative asset development, localisation and delivery for the UK Theatrical slate. Overseeing the full lifecycle of creative materials, from receiving global assets, adapting for the UK market, coordinating agency briefs, and ensuring that all creative outputs across publicity, marketing and trade marketing are aligned, on strategy and delivered on time.

Responsibilities may include:

Promotions & Partnerships Support

  • Supporting the Theatrical Partnerships Lead to deliver best-in-class film collaborations with brands from multiple industries (including Fashion, FMCG, QSR, Automotive, Tech)
  • Managing artwork approvals, sharing partner artwork with our UK theatrical marketing team, and our Global Promotions team based in LA
  • Assisting with the planning and logistics of brand partner screenings, events and showcases
  • Acting as a daily point of contact and support for our brand partnerships agency.
  • Supporting the promotions team in managing budgets by raising purchase orders, recording costs and dealing with billing queries
  • Liaising with other areas of the business including Franchise and Consumer Products teams.

Creative Services Support

  • Support the Creative Services Manager with the development, localisation and delivery of creative assets across the UK theatrical slate.
  • Work closely with the Trade Marketing team on exhibitor creative requests, briefs and approvals.
  • Help prepare and maintain UK creative briefing documents for all titles, ensuring they’re shared with the relevant cross‑functional teams.
  • Manage incoming creative material requests from agencies and UK team sharing assets via the internal asset management system Puma.
  • Assist on creative requests for publicity screenings and event activations, including briefing agencies and sharing materials with HO for approval.

Campaign & Project Support

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas and campaign thinking.
  • Provide promotions and creative coordination and general administrative support across campaigns.
  • Assist with ad‑hoc projects such as research, presentation building, and tracking industry trends across entertainment and adjacent sectors.
  • Assisting with our screening programmes.

What do I need to bring to the role?

  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Excellent IT skills (Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint as a minimum)
  • General understanding of Photoshop preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player, and learn quickly
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and work hard
  • A creative flair and interest in design and artwork development
  • An interest in brand marketing and partnerships
  • A real love for film and keen interest in the film industry
  • Enthusiasm, positivity and proactivity
