Plater Welder - Hope Valley

Position: Plater / Welder

Location: Hope Valley, Derbyshire

Hours: 10hr shifts, Mon-Sun

Start Date: 13.01.25

Duration: 2 weeks

PAYE Pay:

£19.84/hr Inc Hol Pay

£45.87/day Lodge Allowance

£1710.00/week Gross Mon-Sun

The Role:

Our client has a requirement for Plater / Welders for a shutdown on a cement plant shutdown in Hope Valley, Derbyshire, from Mon 13th Jan for a 2 week shutdown. Duties will include:

- Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate

- Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate

- Repairing heat distorted steel plate

- Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs

- MMA welding on mild steel plate

Requirements:

- CCNSG card

- NVQ / City & Guilds qualification

- Confined Space Entry certificate

- Experience of working on industrial sites ie power stations, refineries, steelworks
