Procurement Manager

Job Purpose
The Procurement Manager will own the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for Gresham, from sourcing and tendering through to contract negotiation, supplier onboarding and ongoing vendor management. This is a hands-on, mid-level role suited to someone who enjoys building strong supplier relationships while bringing rigour and cost discipline to how the business buys goods and services.

As Gresham continues to grow across its global markets, effective procurement is central to protecting margins, managing third-party risk and ensuring our supplier base meets the security and compliance standards expected of a regulated financial technology business. This role gives the successful candidate the opportunity to shape procurement practice across the organisation and work closely with Finance, Legal and IT leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end procurement process for goods and services across Gresham’s global offices, from sourcing and tendering through to contract negotiation and supplier onboarding, ensuring cost-effective and compliant outcomes.
• Own supplier and vendor relationship management, conducting regular performance reviews and risk assessments to ensure service levels, commercial terms and data security standards are consistently met.
• Own the I2P platform and have experience in their set up and management.
• Partner with Finance, Legal and IT stakeholders to develop procurement policies, approval workflows and category strategies that support Gresham’s growth and regulatory obligations.
• Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities across the supplier base, tracking and reporting procurement KPIs and savings against budget to senior leadership.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong working knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies and contract negotiation, gained in a similar Procurement Manager or Senior Buyer role.
• Experience managing supplier relationships, contracts and vendor risk, ideally within technology, financial services or another regulated industry.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence senior leadership and work effectively across Finance, Legal and IT.
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Desirable Skills

• Hands-on experience with procurement or contract lifecycle management systems (e.g. Coupa, SAP Ariba).
• Experience with Amazon Marketplace spend management.
• Experience of procurement within a global, multi-currency organisation.
• CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualification, or working towards.
