Proposals Manager

A leading law firm is looking for an experienced Proposals Manager to join its global Business Development team.

This is a senior role supporting a major international practice area, with responsibility for managing complex, strategic and multi-jurisdictional proposals, primarily across the European market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end proposals and pitches for strategic opportunities.
• Work closely with senior partners, professionals and Business Development teams.
• Develop compelling, client-focused proposals and written content.
• Provide strategic advice, challenge and guidance throughout the pitch process.
• Coach and support junior colleagues.
• Manage online RFP submissions and proposal technology.
• Deliver proposal training and conduct win/loss reviews.
• Build strong relationships across international teams and support best-practice development.

You will have:

• Extensive experience managing competitive proposals and pitches, ideally within professional services.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders in a complex, international environment.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• The ability to influence, challenge and build relationships at senior level.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills and experience with online RFP platforms.
