Assistant Proposals Manager

Are you an organised and creative proposals professional looking to further develop your career in work winning? We're looking for a motivated and detail-focused Assistant Proposals Manager to support the development of high-quality submissions that help us win exciting interiors construction projects across a diverse range of sectors.

Working as part of our Proposals team, you'll collaborate with Project Managers (Proposals), Proposals Managers, project teams and subject matter experts to coordinate content and contributions across multiple bids. You'll help keep information, contributors and deadlines on track from early opportunity research through to submission.

Working flexibly from home and from our office opposite the Old Bailey in central London, you'll have experience in a bid, proposals or work winning environment - perhaps as aBid Coordinator, Bid Writer, Bid Assistant, Proposals Coordinator or in a similar role. You'll have strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, work to tight deadlines and produce clear, accurate and engaging content. Microsoft Office experience is essential, with Adobe InDesign or wider Adobe Suite experience desirable.

As the successful Assistant Proposals Manager, you'll be a key point of contact for proposal content, coordinating timely responses from across the business and supporting the production of consistent, high-quality submissions. You'll also support opportunity research, manage relevant portals and work with colleagues in graphic design to coordinate the presentation of our bids.

Essential and Desirable Criteria

Essential skills:
  • Experience of working in a bid, proposals or work winning environment.
  • Strong organisation and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Experience of coordinating content and contributions from a range of internal stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication skills, with good attention to detail.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
Desirable skills:
  • Experience of Adobe InDesign or the wider Adobe Suite.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification and/or APMP membership or certification.
