Senior Business Analyst

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will join our London team to support our activities within the aviation and transportation sector.

You will play a key role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring complex business requirements are translated into clear, actionable solutions. Working across multiple systems and integrations, you will support the design and delivery of business-critical applications, collaborating closely with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and Testers throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications, process flows, and data models
• Design end-to-end functional solutions that meet business and operational needs
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and Testers to ensure successful solution delivery
• Own the functional design throughout the development lifecycle
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect analysis and resolution activities
• Analyse system behaviour and investigate functional issues across integrated environments
• Work with API-based architectures and system integrations
• Support projects involving complex and legacy system landscapes
• Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and stakeholder reviews
• Ensure requirements traceability and alignment with business objectives

Required Skills:

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst within complex technology environments
• Ability to translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications
• Experience creating process maps, workflows, use cases, and data models
• Knowledge of API integrations and interconnected business systems
• Experience supporting software delivery across the full project lifecycle
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience supporting UAT and defect management activities
• Ability to work across multiple teams and manage competing priorities

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
• Proven experience delivering business analysis activities on enterprise-scale projects
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working within aviation, transportation, logistics, or infrastructure sectors
• Knowledge of systems integration and enterprise architecture principles
• Experience working with legacy system transformation programmes
• Familiarity with requirements management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar
• Understanding of SQL, data modelling, and reporting concepts
