This is an exciting opportunity to join Deloitte Operations for an engagement with one of our clients.

The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Programme Director to lead complex, enterprise-wide, multi-year transformation and risk-reduction programmes within a regulated financial services environment.

The successful candidate will bring strong governance and controls expertise, including the ability to establish and run SteerCos, executive forums, programme control frameworks, integrated plans, KPIs/KRIs, RAID and dependency management.

Experience & Skills Required

· Programme leadership: Proven experience leading complex, enterprise-wide, multi-year transformation and risk-reduction programmes.

· Financial services experience: Significant delivery experience within a major global bank, systemically important financial institution, consultancy or professional services firm supporting banking clients.

· Seniority: Programme Director-level capability, with approximately 12–20+ years’ relevant experience and at least 8–10 years leading enterprise programmes.

· Governance and controls: Demonstrable ability to establish and operate SteerCos, executive forums, programme control frameworks, integrated plans, KPIs/KRIs, RAID and dependency management.

· Executive stakeholder management: Exceptional communication, influencing and constructive challenge skills, with experience operating at Executive Committee, Managing Director, Board and regulatory level.

· Risk and regulatory delivery: Strong understanding of regulated banking environments, enterprise risk, compliance, control enhancement and regulatory remediation, including Skilled Person activity where applicable.

· Delivery management: Strong capability across programme mobilisation, cross-functional workstream leadership, financial and resource management, vendor oversight, executive reporting and benefits realisation.

· Strategic problem solving: Ability to navigate complex organisations, align competing priorities, resolve blockers and recover at-risk programmes using data-led recommendations.

Preferred but not essential

· Third-party risk expertise: Experience in TPRM, supplier governance, outsourcing, supplier assurance, critical third-party oversight and supplier risk remediation
