Senior Software Engineer

You will design and architect new and existing systems, deliver high-quality software, and establish engineering best practices. You will define code-review, branching and deployment strategies, review pull requests, lead or mentor colleagues, and communicate technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Have expertise in relevant software engineering frameworks and technologies
• Have experience with AWS, Azure and GCP
• Have led Agile project teams
• Have evaluated customer business requirements
• Have delivered high-quality software solutions
• Demonstrate ownership of a technical project or piece of work
• Demonstrate knowledge of several modern languages or frameworks such as Go, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Python or Rust
• Demonstrate practical application of software engineering principles in a complex technical environment
• Be a British citizen or hold dual British nationality
• Be able to obtain Developed Vetting
• Live within commuting distance of Cheltenham or Manchester
