Salary: £35,000–£40,000 depending on experience
Location: Sheffield
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm – No Weekends!

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join a modern, well-equipped independent automotive centre in Sheffield.

Operating from a spacious, modern workshop, the business works across cars, vans, motorhomes and commercial vehicles, offering everything from routine servicing and MOT testing to advanced diagnostics and complex mechanical repairs.

What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards
- Completing servicing and routine maintenance
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out clutch, brake and suspension repairs
- Working on cars, vans and light commercial vehicles
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults
- Completing vehicle inspections and identifying additional repairs
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
Requirements
- Valid MOT Tester licence – Essential
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
- Experience working across different vehicle makes and models
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Full UK driving licence
Commutable Locations
Sheffield, Rotherham, Tinsley, Meadowhall, Handsworth, Attercliffe, Darnall, Chapeltown and surrounding areas.
