Working - 5 days out of 6 (every Saturday off) - 5pm-2am and 7pm-4am shifts.

Key responsibilities

Running the busy night shift operation at Cramlington, you will be responsible for the warehouse team.

The role will involve working alongside the team, been a role model and resolving any issues that arise in conjunction with the site management team.

· Make sure SOPs are adhered to by all and your section is maintained to a high standard

· Look after your team, treat them with respect whilst upholding performance standards

· Work alongside your team to ensure the shift is running smoothly

· Communicate any issues or handover information clearly and in good time

· Ensure all team members are up to date with all training requirements

· Maintain good working knowledge of operational functions

· Maintain a good working relationship with all operations personnel and other supporting functions, internally & externally.

· Take ownership of decisions within your team

· Maintain all systems and records within set timeframes or deadlines

About You

· Knowledge of warehouse operations

· Knowledge of distribution environment including health & safety, food safety

· Previous experience of managing a team

· Strong communicator (verbal and written)

· Excellent decision-making skills

· Ability to create strong and effective cross-functional relationships
