Member of Technical Staff Engineering Lead Platform Foundations

You will lead infrastructure and platform engineers building cloud, networking, security, and developer infrastructure. You will prioritize execution, guide architecture, make hands-on contributions, establish secure and scalable platform defaults, and manage cloud and infrastructure vendors.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and grow an infrastructure engineering team
• Lead foundational platform engineering efforts
• Prioritize work and manage projects
• Guide cloud, networking, security, and developer infrastructure architecture
• Contribute targeted hands-on engineering work
• Work with research and engineering teams
• Manage cloud and infrastructure vendor relationships

Requirements

• Experience building and growing infrastructure or platform teams
• Production infrastructure or platform engineering experience
• Strong coding ability
• Cloud platform, network engineering, security architecture, or developer tooling expertise
• Terraform or Pulumi knowledge
• Kubernetes knowledge
• CI/CD, build system, and observability knowledge
• Vendor management experience
