Role Summary
A Technical Data Project Manager to lead delivery of data platform modernization initiatives within a global banking environment. The role focuses on execution across data lake, data fabric, and DevOps‑enabled delivery models, working closely with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of data platform programs
- Coordinate across data engineering, architecture, DevOps, and governance teams
- Manage program plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies
- Translate business requirements into technical execution roadmaps
- Drive alignment across global stakeholders
- Ensure delivery meets regulatory and governance expectations
- Enable Agile / DevOps‑based execution practices
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in project / program management
- Banking or financial services experience (mandatory)
- Experience working on data platforms / data lakes / big data programs
- Strong stakeholder management and execution ownership
- Ability to challenge technical teams without hands‑on coding
Preferred (Good to Have)
- Cloud exposure (AWS preferred, not mandatory)
- Awareness of data fabric / data mesh concepts
- Prior background in data engineering or architecture
- Exposure to regulated environments
