  • The shift starts from 08:45 finishing at 16:09
  • You must be able to arrange your own transport to ensure timely arrival for shifts

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented member to join the team as a Train Presentation Team Member to help maintain our trains to the highest standards for safety and passenger satisfaction. You’ll work closely with your Team Leader to follow a daily cleaning program, ensuring trains are clean, safe, and presentable. Full training and uniform are provided upon joining.
  • Liaise with the Presentation Working Team Leader to under take the day-to-day cleaning duties as priorities dictate.
  • Meet our customers’ needs by providing clean, safe, and presentable trains.
  • Operate a range of specialised cleaning equipment;subject to competency,in a safe and well organised manner.
  • Undertake planned cleaning programme in accordance with daily workloads, GA Presentation Cleaning Manuals, Safe Systems of Work, COSHH and Risk Assessments.
  • Attend to and report (where necessary) sharps and biological hazards in accordance with the relevant safe system of work/GA Presentation Cleaning Manual.
  • During disruption assist with ad-hoc cleaning duties and assist customer to the best your ability to direct them to appropriate help.
  • Deal with and report all lost property in accordance with Company policies/procedures.

  • Have a friendly, approachable demeanour with the ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication
  • Remain calm under pressure, make sound decisions, and manage a variety of situations in a fast-paced environment

  • Previous experience in a similar role isrequired
  • Can work flexibly at different locations when business needs require.
  • Attention to detail and pride in delivering high presentation standards.
  • Knowledge of train cleaning processes and methodology would be helpful
