WAREHOUSE & ECOMMERCE FULFILMENT ASSISTANT (PART TIME OR TEMPORARY)

Glassworks London is an independent fashion retail and ecommerce business founded in London in 2010. We operate across ecommerce (primarily UK and USA), UK-based retail stores, a London warehouse and international production.

THE ROLE

We are looking for practical, reliable Warehouse & Ecommerce Fulfilment Assistants to support our busy London warehouse with stock processing, store replenishment and online-order fulfilment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, works quickly and accurately, and is comfortable in a fast-moving retail or ecommerce environment.

Working alongside our warehouse and ecommerce fulfilment team, you will help ensure new stock is processed quickly, stores receive the product they need and online customer orders are dispatched accurately and on time.

WORKING PATTERN / LOCATION

This is a warehouse-based role at our warehouse located in Haggerston, London. We are currently recruiting additional warehouse support urgently, so immediate or very short-notice availability is strongly preferred.

Flexible, temporary and full-time working patterns may be available depending on availability and business need.

KEY TASKS

Critical support tasks include:

• receiving and unpacking inbound deliveries;

• checking and sorting stock;

• preparing, labelling and polybagging products where required;

• putting stock away accurately;

• picking stock for our five retail stores;

• preparing warehouse-to-store transfers;

• picking and packing ecommerce customer orders;

• preparing parcels and stock for dispatch;

• using scanners and basic warehouse systems;

• keeping stock and warehouse areas organised;

• supporting general warehouse activity during busy periods.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Previous experience in a warehouse, ecommerce fulfilment operation, stockroom or retail environment is useful, but we are primarily looking for people who are:

• reliable and punctual;

• quick and practical;

• accurate when handling stock and quantities;

• comfortable with physical warehouse work;

• able to follow processes and instructions carefully;

• comfortable using scanners or basic computer systems;

• willing to move between store fulfilment and ecommerce fulfilment depending on daily priorities;

• able to work well as part of a small team.

Fashion, retail or ecommerce warehouse experience is an advantage but is not essential.
